Monday’s Menu Experimenting

Wow, I really LOVED making new recipes found on Pinterest last week.  So much that I’m gonna do it again.  First though, let me tell you how the trials went:



The Sweet Chicky Nuggets recipe didn’t taste exactly like nuggets from the anti-cow fast food joint, but they were so good anyway!  I’m afraid of how much I liked them.  Because they are fried, they’re not something I should make often, but man oh man, they taste great enough that I really want to make them on a regular basis!





The Cheesy Bacon Oven Chips were just as good as they look.  Holy cow.  I made the chipotle sauce on the side without any chipotle because, well, I don’t have any.  I used ground red pepper instead.  I made these chips along with the nuggets and dipped both the chips and the nuggets in the sauce cause I loved it so much.




I also made the Crockpot Applesauce.  This was the least favorite of mine, probably because it was the healthiest.  Kidding.  The applesauce turned out more mushy than I would have expected.  Maybe it’s because slow cooking foods makes them so tender that it mushed it?  I don’t know.  Maybe I screwed the whole thing up.  The taste was GREAT and I think I will try using brown sugar in my applesauce in the future, but the texture didn’t win me over.





And now for the new recipes I’m hoping to try this week:


 Loaded Baked Potato Casserole looks so good!!  I can’t wait to try it.


Cream Cheese and Garlic Stuffed Chicken.  Need I say more??
