Yesterday I went to the store again. I’m trying to keep myself accountable, so I’m gonna post what I bought and what I spent. Maybe it’ll help me to not only think about how much I’m spending on groceries, but also on what I’m purchasing. This’ll be a good way to ensure that I’m not buying a bunch of processed junk! Right?:-)
Anyway, I went to two stores; Reams (local grocery) and Dollar Tree.
Reams:
- 1 16-oz container cottage cheese – $0.99
- 16-oz jar Adam’s 100% Natural Peanut Butter – $3.48
- 6 Kiwi – $1.50 for all
- 1 head Green Leaf Lettuce – $0.79
- 1 Avocado – $0.69
- 2 24-packs toilet paper – $9.96 for both
Dollar Tree:
- 1 pkg paper muffin cups – $1
- 2 ice cube trays – $1
- 1 donation to Education for Soldiers – $1
Total spent yesterday (including tax): $21.52 (will round up to $22 and stick the change in my change jar).
