With summer approaching, smoothie season also comes.
Whatever, that’s not true. The truth is that I’ve been on a smoothie kick since last fall when I got a ton of peaches and raspberries and froze them to blend and eat later. I love smoothies, and I’ve become slightly obsessed with them these last 9 months. What can I say? Most of the smoothies I make are just thrown together, you know? Some frozen peaches, frozen raspberries, and a little fresh squeezed orange juice, perhaps a dash of vanilla, oh yeah….but measurements? Oops. I never manage to make the exact same one twice. And that is why I’m scouring the web this week looking for smoothie recipes. Will I follow them exactly and measure stuff? Probably not, but man, there are some tasty ideas out there:
