“Assessing, developing, attaining and sustaining needed emergency preparedness, response and recovery capabilities is a difficult task that requires sustained leadership …. There is a no silver bullet, no easy formula.”
This week, our focus is going to be on GLOVES…two types:
I think the reasons behind needing gloves are probably pretty obvious. Latex gloves are so useful in unsanitary conditions to protect ourselves from disease, blood, germs, etc. They also come in handy when you’re grossed out and have to clean something up.
Work gloves are so important to have! I can imagine SO many emergency situations in which they would come in handy. When moving debris out of the way, whether from a wind storm (tree branches), an earthquake (rock, cement, rubble), or anything else, gloves will protect you from cuts, slivers, burns, and more. Make it a priority to get yourselves some gloves for your kits!
