I found a recipe for homemade dishwasher detergent from a magazine (I’m so sorry, I don’t remember which one…). I haven’t yet tried it, but thought I would post it for you if you’re interested. I’ll be trying it as soon as I get to the store to get the stuff, and I’ll share my thoughts.
Homemade Dishwasher Detergent
1 cup borax
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup kosher salt
Mix all together and use instead of your regular dishwasher detergent.
*I personally will be adding vinegar to the rinse cycle when I try this, just to help avoid water spots and all that jazz.
